Didn't know what I needed 'til I saw it Didn't know what I loved 'til I held it close Didn't know what to sing until I heard the song Never knew what I had 'til it was gone

Weekend Crib 03:27
When I am blue Grab a brew Think of you Consider a stew Get a pot Make some soup And I'm lovin' this life Everything is alright I see the lake, the trees, and the mountain tops Calling' dibs on the weekend crib With all that we do Need solitude Here with you The city is dead Gone to bed All turned red Let's go hop in the tub We're makin' love Livin' life on the edge, just the two of us Calling' dibs on the weekend crib I fall in love With the world that's all around us I fall in love With the birds, bees, and the trees Livin' in all the ways Livin' in all the ways I find peace in solitude Take my hand, have a walk with me Wear a pretty little hat, make you feel fancy Man, see We'll be British with a noon cup of tea Add a fifth, just to sip Readin' books, never watch on TV Start the day off with a wink and kiss Listen to wax, but not 'cause it's hip Sounds like it's honey, the apple is crisp It always feels good at the weekend crib Friday is done No more runnin' Just fun Out in the sun With my hun And man bun The kids are away For a couple of days I'll grab the brews and the bikes and the cheese and the wine Calling' dibs on the weekend crib I fall in love With the world that's all around us I fall in love With the birds, bees, and the trees Livin' in all the ways Livin' in all the ways I find peace in solitude

Hold Tight 04:14
Hold tight, my friend Heard you were feeling down Too much hatred around Wanna get outta town Maybe live underground Let me tell you 'bout a scene It can work like a dream Go to the place where all the good hearted people sing Hard days, one step forward, two steps backwards Hold tight, my friend Broke but living free Blind yet able to see I see the wolves closing in I hear the demons out there laughing at my sins Trust thy hand that draws thy sword I'll take one step forward Cut demons down, my reward Is I can go to the place where all the goodhearted people sing Hard days, one step forward, two steps backwards Long nights hanging out with my friends I know every little thing gon' be alright, babe Hold tight, my friend Spent years living apart until the weekend comes But the weekdays bleed into the weekend some We've both been through a lot, but I've become numb Your wounds are still fresh, depressed by tedium The everyday ho-hum, eyes will not flow from This ain't the first and it won't be the last one One step forward and two steps back Turn around and you're closer to game, set, match Just because one's sour, don't throw out the batch Just because the road is long doesn't mean you turn back, ATTACK! Naw, I'd never treat you like that, in fact you always keep me on track With a smile so bright, keep me calm all through the night and Every little thing gonna be alright Hard days, one step forward, two steps backwards Long nights hanging out with my friends YEAH I know every little thing gon' be alright, babe Hold tight, my friend Hard days, one step forward, two steps backwards Long nights hanging out with my friends I know every little thing gon' be alright, babe Hold tight, my friend

Pretty Girls 03:38
I like to party with those pretty girls Think I'm gettin' drunk with the fellas tonight Hoppin' in my truck and I'm headed to Kentucky Where the whiskey flows and the Southern women love me Don't know what's a-coming but I know I'm gettin' drunk tonight Goin' through some hard times and I'm lookin' for some trouble And when my mind is set I'm gonna find it and a double Got two babies in tow and I'm lookin' for a three-school tonight When I woke up stoned, alone Butt-naked in the hotel lobby I knew I'd been had Day's turned bad again I like to party with those pretty girls But things always seem to spin right out of my control I ain't gonna let you make me the fool you took for a ride I think I'm gettin' drunk with the fellas tonight It's the golden elixir gonna get me there quicker And my better sense of judgement takes a dive right out the window Batten down the hatches You know I'm comin' tonight When I woke up stoned, alone Butt-naked in the hotel lobby I knew I'd been had Day's turned bad again I like to party with those pretty girls But things always seem to spin right out of my control I ain't gonna let you make me the fool you took for a ride I think I'm gettin' drunk with the fellas tonight Seems like trouble finds a way Fires the gun and we're off to the races Fall to my knees, perhaps that I should pray Crack open a bottle, find a pill to swallow Yes I'm on my way I like to party with those pretty girls But things always seem to spin right out of my control I ain't gonna let you make me the fool you took for a ride I think I'm gettin' drunk with the fellas tonight Listen Well I've been a fool too many times in my life I guess I'm gettin' drunk with the fellas tonight

Better Man 03:09
If I start to stray just know that I've lost my way And I'm tryin' to be a better man for you You deserve so much more than I've had in store And I'm tryin' to be a better man for you Some men thrive half the time Some men die and never realize Give me time, at least to try And I'll try to be a better man for you There's a war out there that's ragin' In our hearts and on the pavement And you feel there's not a damn thing you can do Pick up arms and join the struggle Give a hug, it's half the trouble Ask yourself what a better man would do Some men thrive half the time Some men die and never realize Give me time, at least to try And I'll try to be a better man for you If you step into the light, there's a mirror to your right There's a man that you have always longed to be Broken dreams and broken hearts - a very fine place to start We all know the truth can set us free Some men thrive half the time Some men die and never realize Give me time, at least to try And I'll try to be a better man for you Some men thrive half the time Some men die and never realize Give me time, at least to try And I'll try to be a better man for you And I'll try to be a better man for you And I'll try to be a better man for you

I started the day just like any other Rolled out of bed and stumbled down the stairs Then a wave of terror came over me This frightening feeling I wasn't prepared There was a voice I heard in my head And I'll tell you just what it said You can be anything you want, just open your mind Whether you're lucky or you're not, gotta put in your time Give it everything you got, and even though It may seem like it's crawling so slowly I know you're gonna make it If you're tired and frustrated you could leave it 'til morning Or try it again 'til you get it right While the whole rest of the world is snoring You could be makin' a better day throughout the night Just remember there's a voice in your head Gotta listen to it when it says You can be anything you want, just open your mind Whether you're lucky or you're not, gotta put in your time Give it everything you got, and even though It may seem like it's crawling so slowly I know you're gonna make it You're gonna make it this time And everything will be just fine Oh, little darlin' If it's hard, all that you can do Is just keep pushing' through You can be anything you want, just open your mind Whether you're lucky or you're not, gotta put in your time Give it everything you got, and even though It may seem like it's crawling so slowly I know you're gonna make it

Trin 03:25
I've been living' in sin, all alone with my friends I'm a-losin' and Trin, you're all I think about Torn apart at the core, trapped in a black hole Won't you come home and we can reminisce about' Wastin' the days down at the arcade How you love to play Can we try it again, like all those video games? Put another quarter in Trin Why don't you come back so we can start again? I'll say it again Why don't you come back so we can start again? I's a fool not to say, couldn't ruin the game It's a cryin' shame and this is what it's all about And it all depends, are we more than just friends Hopin' in the end that we can reminisce about Wastin' those nights down at the arcade How you love to play Can we try it again like all those video games? Put another quarter in Trin Why don't you come back so we can start again? I'll say it again Why don't you come back so we can start again? Down on my knees, begin' you please Won't you come back home Wastin' those nights down at the arcade How you love to play Can we try it again like all those video games? Put another quarter in Trin Why don't you come back so we can start again? I'll say it again Why don't you come back so we can start again? Wastin' those nights down at the arcade How you love to play Can we try it again like all those video games? Put another quarter in Trin Why don't you come back so we can start again? I'll say it again Why don't you come back so we can start again?

Didn't know what I needed 'til I saw it Didn't know what I loved 'til I held it close Didn't know what to sing until I heard the song Never know what I have until it's gone Didn't know how to cry until I broke it Didn't know how to care while it was in my hand Didn't know where to start 'til it was done Or what I had 'til it was gone Oh, when it's gone The bottle's empty, poured out right onto the ground Just hang onto what matters the most 'Cause you never know just how long it'll be around You ever feel like you're takin' it for granted Forgetting just how precious and how rare Live within the moment while it's there 'Cause oh, when it's gone The promise was broken, left outside in the rain Just hang onto what matters the most Because without it, things will never be the same Oh, when it's gone The bottle's empty, poured out right onto the ground Just hang onto what matters the most 'Cause you never know just how long it'll be around Gotta learn how to love before you lose it Better learn how to hold it before it drops You better learn how to walk before you run And realize what you've got before it's gone

about

In April 2020, we were scheduled to make a quick EP/demo with Bryan Lash. Well, lockdown happened, and all of a sudden, there was no more momentum for our band, so we decided to take our time and make a full length. Bryan Lash is a fearless and extremely talented producer, and though this album has been almost 3 years in the making, we couldn't be more proud of this slamming collection of songs!

about

BIGTOOTH Seattle, Washington

Welcome to Seattle’s “Dad Pop” band, BIGTOOTH -
part chorus, part campfire song, part skeleton key and part honey pot, dripping with melody. Electric-blue harmonies buoy big guitar chords and bright lightning bolt rhythms. No influence is out of bounds, no wave unworthy of the surf. It’s a blend of ingredients that harkens back to traditional styles and yet portends new positions of exclamation. ... more
